On June 1st 1982 at 12:58pm in Cherokee County, SC little Rebecca Diane Gibson entered the world. The person who gave birth to her was not the person who took her home. As a young child she grew in a small ranch house across the street from a golf course where the sunlight streamed through her windows as she read the Children's Encyclopedia Art Edition cover to cover, studied sign language, and used her imagination to the fullest. She hardly ever watched television. If one where to look at a video of this girl from when she was five that person would discover that she was always singing, said whatever came to mind, and loved bolonga and cheese puff sandwiches.
(Middle school and High School brought about a strong work ethic within this young lady, lots of art classes, lots of soccer playing, and lots of circles. The details of it seem a little boring in retrospect.)
She still likes to sing, but usually only in her car, and she tries to stay away from bologna and cheese puff sandwhiches. Although if asked, she would admit that b-b-q chips make an amazing addition to any cheese sandwhich. She dosen't say what comes to mind as much, but this young adult is trying to revert back to this former quality. Currently, Rebecca has discovered herself biting her tongue too often, and noticing that it is starting to hurt.
She finished college in December of 2003, and the process of job hunting hurts her head and makes her very tired. She opted to go into Americorps to delay the process. She doesn't know what the future holds, but this girl is confident that it will be interesting and as always is looking forward to what will happen next.
